Urbana 2000 Set for December
CHICAGO, IL (November 21, 2000) - The Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) Department of World Mission will have a visible presence at Urbana 2000, a worldwide student mission convention sponsored by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA. The convention will take place December 27-31 at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.
At 1:30 p.m. December 30, the Department of World Mission will co-host a hospitality room at the Peabody Residence Hall's private dining room. A World Mission exhibit will be in operation – young adults are encouraged to stop by the booth to pick up information about numerous short-term and long-term mission opportunities.
