New College Seeking Teacher Candidates

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA (November 15, 2000) - The new Alaska Christian College (ACC) is seeking to fill two new positions as the college prepares to open in fall 2001.

The first position is that of academic dean and Bible teacher. The successful candidate must reflect a passion for teaching the Bible and a willingness to serve largely rural Alaskans. Experience in youth ministry is desired, as are strong skills in academic leadership. A master's degree is required (or work towards a degree must be in progress). The successful candidate must be in a position to move to the area by June 2001.

The second position is for a practical theology and worship arts teacher. The successful candidate must have experience in worship arts, drama and in teaching students – experience in youth ministry is preferred. A bachelor's degree is required – a master's degree is desired. This individual also must be in a position to move to the area by June 2001.
