CHIC2K Stories Moved to New Location

CHICAGO (July 31, 2000) - All stories relating to the just-completed CHIC2K event in Knoxville, Tennessee, have been moved to the special CHIC2K web pages and can be accessed by clicking on the CHIC2K logo on the main page of the Covenant web site.

This year's CHIC2K event was the largest in the history of the program, attracting some 6,500 high school students and adults to the University of Tennessee campus. More than 1,300 students made commitments or recommitments to Jesus Christ, according CHIC2K sponsors.

In addition to the many stories written about key events, there were an estimated 2,000 photographs taken during the course of the event by members of the Communications team. Visitors to the CHIC2K web pages will find an extensive selection of photos capturing key moments during the week's activities.
