Accident Claims Life of Lay Minister's Wife
DALLAS, TX (May 23, 2000) - Services will be held May 25 for Betty Watson, wife of Bob Watson, lay minister at Community Evangelical Covenant Church in Shawnee, Kansas.Mrs. Watson died in an automobile accident in Dallas. The couple was visiting family members to celebrate a graduation as well as the Watson's 50th wedding anniversary. Watson serves on the Board of Communication of the Evangelical Covenant Church and is a Covenant stewardship consultant.
A memorial service is scheduled at 7 p.m. at Community Covenant in Shawnee.
