Final Preview Weekend April 16 at North Park

CHICAGO (April 1, 2000) - The last of several Preview Weekends will be conducted April 16 on the campus of North Park University, open to parents and students who are interested in learning more about the university.

The preview program involves visits to the Chicago campus to see first-hand the facilities and visit with staff. Whether the visit is for the day or involves an overnight stay, North Park will customize the visit to accommodate individual preferences. Parents and students can tour the campus, visit a class, meet a counselor, coach, or faculty member, attend chapel, or experience North Park cuisine in the dining hall. Visits require a two-week advance notice and are limited to 30 prospective students.

Weekend activities are scheduled Sunday, April 16 (1 p.m.) to Monday, April 17 (4 p.m.). Features include a trip to Navy Pier and a College Life service.

For students living in the Chicago area, North Park University also hosts open houses at various times. Students can learn about majors and academic programs, athletic programs, admission requirements, financial aid and scholarships, student life, Outreach Ministries, and Campus Ministries from students, faculty, and staff. They also can tour the campus and have lunch in the resident dining hall. The final open house of the season will be conducted April 19. For additional information, call North Park at 773-244-5500.
