Annual Meeting News Package Updated

CHICAGO (July, 1999) - A number of stories, photographs and recordings (both video and audio) have been added to the Covenant website's 1999 Annual Meeting package during the past two weeks, according to Donald L. Meyer, executive director of the Department of Communication of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Members of the Communications news team developed a significant volume of material that was posted to the Covenant website during the three-day event in Green Lake, Wisconsin, "but not all material could be included as events unfolded, due to staffing and time constraints," Meyer explained. "Various meetings and events continued virtually nonstop each day, leaving little time for writing and processing, requiring staff to complete much of the work following conclusion of the event," he added.

A comprehensive review of the 1999 Annual Meeting will also be found in the August issue of The Covenant Companion. Subscribers will receive their copies near the end of July. Nonsubscribers may purchase single copies in person or by mail from The Covenant Bookstore, 3200 West Foster Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60625. If ordering by mail, please include a check in the amount of $3.50, which covers the cost of the magazine, postage and handling.
