Celebration to Mark New Church Plant
CHICAGO (February, 1999) - CHICAGO – Five area churches will gather February 21 to celebrate the start of a new church in northern Lake County.The "Festival of Celebration and Anticipation" will begin at 6 p.m. at Northbrook Covenant Church. Combined choirs from Edgebrook, Glenview, Libertyville, Northbrook and Winnetka churches will participate. Guest speaker is Rev. Herbert Freedholm, Central Conference superintendent of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC).
The new church plant, part of ECC's Churches Planting Churches initiative, will be located in the general area of the communities of Grayslake, Antioch, Lake Villa and Wildwood.
