Project Missionary Program

Until recently the Department of World Mission has offered two opportunities for international ministry: career and short-term missionary service. We are now implementing a third opportunity, a pilot program, called the Project Missionary (PM) Program. The PM Program is project-focused so that Covenanters may serve from three to six years on strategic projects that will move God's mission outreach forward as He directs. This new program is tailored primarily for people seeking to serve in world mission for longer than a couple of years but for less than a career. People desiring to serve in this new track agree to raise their own support much like Short-Term Missionaries.

This new program puts our denomination in a better position to respond to new needs and opportunities for mission and to the increased number of Covenant congregations and people that are expressing a passion for mission service.
