Elective seminars provide an opportunity for in-depth training and conversation. These optional 3-hour seminars begin Saturday afternoon before YWC begins. To pre-register write the number of the seminar you would like to attend in the highlighted section of the Midwinter Registration Form labeled PRE-MIDWINTER REGISTRATION. (Additional cost $30.)

101- Stuck in the Middle: Junior High Ministry

If you work with junior high students, you know the unique challenges and rewards this age group represents. Our time together is specifically designed to give you an overview of some of the critical elements needed in a healthy junior school ministry. Our hope is that in the end this will have served as a launching pad into the wonderful ever-changing world of junior high students.

102- Art and Prayer

Art has been used for centuries to explain scripture and to draw people closer to God. Come and discover how God can communicate to you through art and how you might communicate with him as well. The artistically challenged need not be afraid.

103- Sacred Space: Designing a 24-7-365 Prayer Room

God is at work around the world in the area of prayer. From Melbourne to Miami Beach, Copenhagen to Cape Town, hundreds of thousands of people have cried out to God in 24-7 Prayer Rooms over the past 6 years. The Evangelical Covenant Church has jumped on board with these intercessors from around the world and entered into a year long nonstop prayer adventure with 24-7-365. Join us for a discussion on the idea of 24-7 Prayer, the philosophy of a Prayer Room, how to initiate a 24-7 Prayer Movement in your church, and how to design your own prayer room.
