Coordinators Connection — Enriching Resources for Women
Projects
WOMEN MINISTRIES has blessed thousands over the years through its Opportunity Giving! Your giving reflects concerns dear to your heart as well as your faithfulness in joining hands to advance God's kingdom beyond your community. Blessings on you as you prayerfully consider how to share God's blessings with others!
- Denominational Project. Women Ministries presents an annual project where donations from across the denomination enable ministry on a large scale.
- Friends of Women Ministries. Though most Friends are individuals who support the denominational vision, groups may join, as well. Funds support both new initiatives and ongoing ministries.
- Congo Women Ministries. Following the 1978 Women of Zaire Project, ECC Women Ministries continue to support Congolese Women Ministries.
- Myra Leaf Scholarship Fund. Named in memory of Myra Leaf who died at Triennial IX, funds enable more women to attend Women Ministries Triennials.
- Toni Carson Scholarship Fund. Established in 1992 in memory of a Wycliffe missionary woman, funds provide scholarships for international women to get advanced training in their own country or language group.
- International Women Ministries. This fund enables international women to attend inspirational and educational conferences. By equipping women, Women Ministries strengthens women ministries around the world.
- Congo Shipping Fund. Though not everyone can prepare bandages for Congo Medical Work, anyone can participate in this ministry by donating to the heavy shipping expenses through this fund.
- Women's History Commission. Begun in 1987 with a grant from Adaline Bjorkman, the Commission records the contributions women of the Covenant have made to the life and vitality of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
- Endowment Fund. Established in 1998, thanks to the generous estate of Anna Hedlund, the fund provides for the future potential of Women Miistries.
