Demographic Resources

• Where should we plan to have Bible studies so they will be geographically accessible?
• What's the average age in our community?
• Do we need to consider a ministry to single parents?
• Which ethnic groups are most prevalent in our neighborhood?

Databases containing Census Bureau statistics with CPS updates are available for any location in the U.S.A. or Canada. Information is based on 1998 estimates with projections for 2003. (Data includes but is not limited to:)

• Age
• Income
• Poverty
• Population of land area
• Net Population changes
• Single/Two parent families
• Language
• Housing values and characteristics
• Family Size

The Driving-Time Feature plots out on a map the area that can be driven to in 10, 20, or 30 minutes of driving from the church. These driving times and maps can then help the church to more accurately gather information for assessing the needs of its community.
