Children's Program

Children’s Program

“Are You There God?” is the theme of the children’s program, and it will explore God’s presence in prayer, play, praise, story, service and solitude. The children will learn how God is present in every aspect of their lives – in opening worship, in games, in the midst of creativity, in the Word, and in designing aspects of worship.

The children will explore the two basic concepts of knowing God and talking to God. They will have a time of worship together (parents can have their children remain with them during worship before they leave for their classes), a time of creating a presentation for the family worship service, and play times which also will be designed around the theme, acknowledging that children learn in all kinds of settings.

Steve and Marti Burger (directors of children, youth, and family ministries) are providing the children’s program. The three classes are: Shepherd’s Fold for nursery and toddlers, Preschool Kingdom for ages 3 – kindergarten, and Adventure Camp for 1st – 6th grades.

Shepherds Fold (Nursery, Toddler) is committed to the care and nurture of the youngest of God’s children. You can be assured your young children will receive, safe loving care in an environment especially designed for them.

Preschool Kingdom is where children ages 3 through entering kindergarten will pray, worship, play in a make-believe land, climb through castles, listen to stories, have fun with crafts, sing, play games, and explore God’s Word.

Adventure Camp is a fantastically fun, spiritual adventure for those entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade. It will feature worship, prayer, stories, music, games, crafts, puppets, television studio, having fun with God's Word and special activities.

Youth Activities

Student and Young Adult Programs

Angie Tate, youth pastor for Redwood Covenant in Santa Rosa, CA, is planning special events for youth. So why not seize this opportunity for your youth group to take advantage of the spectacular things Keystone has to offer. Students will participate in the plenary and seminar times. In addition, they’ll have opportunities to gather during the afternoon free time and after the evening worship time for late night activities. Out of High School? No problem. There will also be a point person for young adults and singles who want to connect and enjoy the Keystone area.
