Ministries Our ministries to and with the Conference churches are developed through the work of many people, commissions, and initiatives. Boards Executive Board administers conference ministries on behalf of the member churches. Contact the Chair, Mrs. Peggy Peryam, at 309-822-8775 for additional information. Harbor Point Board oversees both camps and provides recreational and educational camping experiences, as well as retreat and conference facilities for regional churches. Covenant Women Ministries coordinates and supports women's ministries in the local setting and through collective gatherings. Central Conference Ministerial Association represents and attends to the Covenant ministers and staff of the region. Commissions Church Planting Commission identifies, enables, and coaches new church plants and their planting pastors together with neighboring churches. The Compassion, Mercy and Justice Commission promotes urban and multicultural ministry, and supports ministries of community development, compassion and justice. The Nominating Commission identifies and recommends gifted people for all conference ministries, and prepares the ballot for the Conference Annual Meeting.
